Terms of service

Agreement and mandatory rights

These Terms of Service govern access to solinfo.shop and orders placed through the website. By using the website or submitting an order, the user agrees to these Terms together with the Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy and Shipping and Delivery Policy. Mandatory protections granted to consumers in France and the European Union prevail over any inconsistent term and are not excluded or reduced.

Eligibility and acceptable use

A customer must have legal capacity to enter into a purchase contract or act with valid authorisation. The website may not be used for unlawful purposes, fraudulent transactions, interference with security, unauthorised data collection, transmission of malicious code, infringement of intellectual-property rights or resale activity that violates stated purchase restrictions.

Product information and availability

We aim to provide accurate descriptions, images, dimensions, materials and prices. Minor display differences may occur. We may correct genuine typographical or technical errors before accepting an order and will notify the customer if a material correction affects the proposed purchase. Products and quantities are subject to availability. A product appearing online does not guarantee acceptance or fulfilment of an order.

Prices, VAT and payment

Prices intended for French consumers are displayed in euros and, where applicable, include VAT. The payable total is shown before the order is confirmed. Standard delivery is free for all orders. Payment must be authorised through an available checkout method. Payment providers may conduct security and fraud checks. We may decline or cancel an order where payment is not authorised, information is materially incomplete, fraud is reasonably suspected, stock is unavailable or fulfilment would be unlawful.

Order formation

The customer selects products, reviews the basket, provides delivery and payment information, and confirms the order through the checkout button indicating an obligation to pay. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order request. The sales contract is accepted when we send an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation indicating that the order will be fulfilled. If we cannot accept an order after payment authorisation, we will cancel it and release or refund the payment without undue delay.

Delivery

All orders receive free standard delivery. The estimated delivery period is 15–20 calendar days after dispatch unless a different committed timeframe is clearly displayed before checkout. The Shipping and Delivery Policy explains processing, tracking, delay, loss, split shipments and address issues. Risk of loss generally passes to a consumer when the consumer or a designated third party physically receives the goods, except where the consumer independently appoints a carrier not offered by us, as provided by applicable law.

Withdrawal, returns and conformity

Eligible consumers have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. The Return and Refund Policy explains notification, return timing and reimbursement. Goods are also covered by mandatory legal guarantees, including the French legal guarantee of conformity and, where applicable, the guarantee against hidden defects. Any commercial statement or voluntary return option is additional to those rights.

Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information; review compatibility, measurements and product limitations; follow safety, assembly, care and use instructions; and inspect delivery within a reasonable time. The customer remains responsible for local installation choices and for using products only for their intended purpose. Nothing in this paragraph transfers responsibility for a defective or non-conforming product to the customer.

Intellectual property

Website text, graphics, layouts, trademarks, logos, photographs and software are owned by or licensed to the relevant rights holder and are protected by intellectual-property law. Personal, non-commercial browsing and purchasing are permitted. Reproduction, scraping, redistribution, modification or commercial exploitation without permission is prohibited, except where law expressly allows it.

Third-party links and tools

The website may contain links or tools provided by third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for unrelated third-party content, but this does not limit responsibility that applicable law places on us for providers used to perform our obligations to the customer.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rules, solinfo.shop is not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses incurred by a consumer using goods for non-business purposes. Any limitation is interpreted only to the maximum extent permitted by French law.

Force majeure

A party is not liable for delay caused by an event meeting the legal requirements of force majeure under applicable French law. We will communicate material disruption, take reasonable steps to reduce its effects and perform or refund as required when performance cannot resume within the legally permitted period.

Complaints and consumer mediation

Contact info@solinfo.shop first so that we can try to resolve a complaint directly. French professional sellers must subscribe to and identify a competent consumer mediator. The mediator’s name, postal address and website must be inserted using the merchant’s real subscription details before publication; no mediator is invented in this document. After an unsuccessful prior written complaint and subject to the mediator’s rules, an eligible consumer may use that mediation service without charge.

Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by French law, without depriving a consumer habitually resident elsewhere in the European Union of mandatory protections of that country. A consumer may bring proceedings before courts competent under applicable consumer and EU jurisdiction rules. We encourage direct written resolution before litigation.

Changes and severability

We may update these Terms prospectively for legal, security or operational reasons. The version in effect when an order is placed governs that order unless a mandatory rule requires otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
